* Eruv Tavshilin When Shabbos flows immediately after Yom Tov, on the eve of Yom Tov, set aside a baked item such as matzah, and a cooked item such as an egg. Then recite the blessing of "Baruch atah... ahl Mitzvas Eruv" and the proclamation, both of which are found in the Artscroll Siddur p. 654. This enables one to cook or do any other preparations on Yom Tov for Shabbos for all household members and guests. The eruv foods should be eaten on Shabbos.
